The 12th edition of the Valencia Business Race by CYES (CEV by CYES), held on the morning of Sunday, May 4, surpassed all expectations with a record-breaking 9,410 registered participants, consolidating itself as a key popular race on the Valencian athletics calendar. Organised by Grupo Nostresport, the event included two RFEA-certified distances: 5 K (6,019 runners) and 10 K (3,386 runners), with 4,823 and 2,690 finishers respectively.
Four new course records
The competition was fierce, as four absolute course records were broken:
- Men’s 10 K: Borja Añón Blasco (WEG Autrial) – 00:32:10
- Women’s 10 K: Geles Gimeno Miquel (Decathlon) – 00:36:20
- Men’s 5 K: Mikel García Escocia (Inditex) – 00:14:57

More than just a race: business, sustainability, solidarity
The event upheld its values of corporate engagement, sustainability, and social commitment. Recycled T-shirts were provided, carbon footprint compensation projects were implemented, and at least €1 per runner was donated to equip schools, clubs, and associations affected by the DANA floods.
